Conversation with Stephen McGown

I am adapting Stephen McGown's story about being captured and held for ransom for six years by Al Qaeda into a play.  As one of my monthly conversations with interesting people, I hosted a third chat with Stephen (the others having been at the Hope Gin distillery and the Karoo Art Hotel in Barrydale) at the Kloof Street Hotel on Tuesday 28 July.  It was fascinating again with the packed audience enthralled by his story and the charm with which he tells it.
